Why is the Predictive text option in the Samsung keyboard grayed out?

You must have another keyboard (NOT Samsung keyboard) as the default keyboard. Go to Settings > General management > Keyboard list and default > Default keyboard to pick the Samsung keyboard to make it as the default keyboard.

Next, you can check if the Predictive text option is still grayed out.
