Here are the differences between the Vivo NEX 3 and NEX 3S:

i. Design
Instead of just silver and black, the Vivo NEX 3S comes with an additional reddish-brown. And, the latest NEX 3S is slightly heavier at 219.5g. The NEX 3 weighs 218.5g.

NEX 3 offers both the 4G only and 5G variants. But, the NEX 3S only has a 5G variant.

ii. Performance
The NEX 3S is powered by the latest Snapdragon 865 paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Whereas, the NEX 3 is powered by the older version of Snapdragon 855 Plus paired with LPDDR4 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage.

The latest model supports Dual Mode 5G (SA & NSA). While, the older NEX 3 only supports the NSA mode.
