Is it possible to lock apps on the Galaxy A53 5G?

You can't set a password to lock an app.

If there’s an app you wish no one except you could access, you’ll need to put it in the Secure Folder, which is protected by a password.

1. Go to Settings > Biometrics and security > Secure Folder.

2. If this is your first time accessing the Secure Folder, you will be prompted to the initial setup, including setting up a password.

3. Once you’re in there, tap the + sign to pick or install the app you want to be protected.

4. After that, you will need to unlock the Secure Folder to access the app.
