I forgot the safe password on my Honor 8. How do I reset it?

If you’ve forgotten the safe password and security questions, you’ll not be able to get your files that you’ve saved in it back. Instead of resetting the password, you can create a brand new safe with a new set of password and security questions. On the Safe password sign in screen, tap Switch Safe > Create Safe to create a new safe.

Each safe is created in the .File_SafeBox folder with a combination of numbers and alphabets as the folder name. If you enable ‘Show hidden files’ in the Files app settings you’ll be able to see the .File_SafeBox folder. If you know of the sub-folder in the .File_SafeBox that’s belong to the safe that you’ve forgotten its password, you can delete that folder. This will delete EVERYTHING including your files (in the safe) and password. You can then forget about this safe and start to create a new one.

@Shizzoo As far as I know the only way to reset the password and gain back access is by answering the security questions.
