Try wiping the cache partition. Here's how

1. Boot your Samsung phone into the recovery mode. (Instruction here)

2. Use the Volume buttons to move the highlight to Wipe cache partition, then press the Power button to select.

3. Next, select Yes to confirm.

4. Select Reboot system now.

That's it. You have wiped the partition cache successfully. I hope doing so helps to solve the app lagging issue after a major software update.
