If you’ve friends and family in other countries, or need to work with a peer that’s from a different timezone, then showing multiple clocks of different cities on your home screen might seem pretty useful to you.
While most of the Android phones do come with some sort of travel clock widgets that let you know the times of different cities at one glance, you may want to try out the following apps if you need one that offers greater customization.
i. World Clock & Widget
This is a simple and easy to use app and widget. You can start with adding the cities on the app, and then follow by using any of these widgets, 1 x 1, 2 x 1 or 4 x 1 to display the times on the home screen.
And yes, you can customize the font and background of the widget.
ii. Dual Digit World Clock Widget (DDWCW)
DDWCW is just a widget. Once you have it installed, go to the Widgets panel to drag the 2 x 2 WorldClock widget to the home screen. As simple as it can be, the WorldClock widget allows you to show 2 clocks of different cities with a transparent background. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with much customization after that.
iii. World Weather Clock Widget (WWCW)
WWCW is a super stylish weather clock widget that displays time and date, current weather, rain fall probability and even wind speed. It features various sizes of widgets such as 1 x1, 2 x1, 4 x1 and 4x 2 with the ability to customize their fonts, backgrounds, temperature scales and more.
Don’t fancy the plain color background ? You can replace it with your favorite picture from the Gallery.
iv. World Clock Widget
One unique thing about this app is that you can choose to either have the analog or digital clock on your home screen. While it doesn’t come with a dual-clock widget, but you can have as many widgets as you need on the home screen for different timezones.

This simple world clock app offers 3 widgets to display the clocks of any timezones. If you wish to show both the local time and the timezone you are visiting, make use of the 4 x 1 (Dual) widget.
There’s a paid version that gets rid of the annoying ads.
vi. Advanced Clock Widget
This is a highly customizable clock widget that display a great deal information such as time and date, battery status, WIFI network name, device uptime, free memory and next alarm.
vii. World Traveler’s Clock
World Traveler’s Clock is an elegantly designed app that allows you to observe global time zones with ease. Choose the cities and add them to the app, and then get the 4 x 2 widget to show the times of these cities on the home screen.

viii. World clock & weather
World clock & weather offers both the 4×1 and 4×2 widgets which you can display the times and dates, current weather and weather forecast of different cities. This free app also includes lots of customization options such as 10 widget skins, 4 weather icon themes, date and time format, just to name a few.
